To be or not to be...that's the question!
I was just about to fall asleep, when i thought of something. Most of the famous and eminent writers are actually women writers. All hail for girls power!Okey okey, we cant actually shake off the good male writers, such as Dan Brown with his literature work such as Da vincci's code and what not, but he's not as "eternal" as these writers, Jane Austen, Charlotte Bronte, Harper Lee (to kill a mockingbird)?
You cant deny the how great and exciting the plot is in "To kill a Mocking bird".
These writers are not really well know, i mean for thier name. If u ask who is Lee Harper, most people wouldnt even know the answer to that. But thier work has been given great recognition, untill when u say "to kill a mockingbird" or " pride and prejudice" most people would be nodding with great confidence that they have heard the name of such books.
Not to mention the author of Harry Potter, J.k Rowling. I've forgotten her name there for a second. I'm sure her work will last and be remembered for a very long time to come.
No doubt men can write, but so far as i can see, women have written such great stories with exceptional ideas and plot. The plot and the originality of the story is beyond comparision and it's definitely as Ean for hitz.fm like to call it "OFF THE CHAIN MAN".
There is another of my favourite, Maya Angelou with her best peom ever, phenomenal women (its my fav) and Sylvia Plath with her dark, deep, and meaningful poem such as mushroom (now i understand the poem).
These writers are my fav and i ran across them by accident and not because i googled up for women writers, studied thier biography and started liking them. Not at all. I like them for thier work and talent. I've only realised that most eminent writers are actually women.
They were many inspiring female writers during the early 19th century, but sadly most of them hid thier identity. Most of them changed thier name to a male name so that they could sell thier books and its all because of female oppression and gender inequality. I dont get it!
Maybe the best example for inspiring female writer would be Lim May Zhee *starts to laugh maniacally and uncontrollably* . Started writting at a tender age (yeah yeah we know) and she's now published (i can hear ppl saying watever). If u put it that way *scoffs* -.-' . I admire her for her "determination" (sarcastically), but she's just L.O.A. (i can see some peole nodding vigorously). She breathes, feeds, and lives on attention. I dont even know why i mentioned her here. Lame.
Besides, if u were to walk around a bookshop or MPH, try to survey the books and probably u'll realise that there are more female writers compared to male writers. As it has been scientifically proven, that women are much more fluent with words compared to men, just as how men are more specialised with mechanical things compared to women. I think it's just thier area of speciality.
I guess every gender has its own speciality, for example. if u were to walk into a mechanic shop, the ratio of female mechanics to male mechanics would probably be 0%-5% : 95%...i guess its just a natural thing...
However, i still cant deny how amazing, brilliant and superb this guys is. The name is WILLIAM HEROLD NELSON SHAKESPEARE. i cant deny his talents and he's genius. If you have studied his work, u wouldnt believe how masterful he is with words. Words flow profusely from his mouth and his heart. It flows and flows and flows and it never ends. When I was studying Romeo and Juliet (currently trying to study Cleopetra and Anthony), i got sick of his words and dramatic-ness!. real cheesy till i wanted kill romeo for his pethatic-ness on the spot. However, when you have finished reading and appreciating its beauty, u'll be asking for more.
If you wont, i know i will and I am. Too bad i cant appreciate with a teacher's help by my side.
Eventhough he's a bloke and yada yada yada...there are actually proofs that he was gay. The Sonnet 18 that he wrote, was actually for a bloke, and he was probably a duke or sumthing. He could be his sponsor, or his good friend. i have no idea...
But even if he's gay, i'll be even more glad! Horraay for gayness and rainbow flags!
wait...do u think he's romantic in real life?
